I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I studied my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Astrophysics at the Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica in Mexico.
From 2017 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral fellow at The University of
Texas at Austin working with the Immersion Grating Infrared Spectrometer (IGRINS) team.
Since Octuber 2021, I am a postdoc at the Instituto de Astronomía of the UNAM working with the star formation group.
My research interests lie within the stellar physics field, some included topics are:
- Young Stellar Objects
 - Solar-like stars
 - Atmospheric parameters
 - Chemical abundances
 - Transiting exoplanets

Currently, I am working on the characterization of young stellar objects through high-resolution infrared spectra obtained with APOGEE.
